A successful MAGPIE meeting at the Port of Sines

Work package leaders of the EU Horizon funded MAGPIE project met up on the 5th for the Steering Committee and the General Assembly. Representatives of Port of Rotterdam, HAROPA PORT, Deltaport, Erasmus University and several other consortium members were able to discuss the status of the project in general and the progress of the Work packages in person. The Port of Sines, one of the four ports of the Consortium, hosted the event and gave the visiting MAGPIE members a tour of their port and their old fortress in the evening of the 5th of September. On September 6th, the consortium members in attendance and invited stakeholders discussed the possible categorization of European ports. This workshop helped advance Work Package 9, the Master Plan for European Green Ports.
