“Building the Smart Green Port of the Future Together” by Lotte Monhemius and Maaike Dalhuisen

The article introduces the European MAGPIE project, the green energy carriers it is developing, and its high technology character. The Port of Rotterdam is cooperating with Wärtsilä on two of the demonstrators of the project. Moreover, the Port of Rotterdam and the 44 other members of the consortium are creating a roadmap for sustainable choices for all European ports. The aim of this project is to build the smart green port of the future together.
