Magpie General Assembly & Port-City Workshop in Leixoes, Portugal

The next MAGPIE Project Port-City Workshop will take place on October 2nd, 2025, at the Auditório Infante D. Henrique in Leça da Palmeira, Matosinhos, Portugal. This event is welcomed by the Port Authority of Leixões.

The public event of the Port City Workshop will cover topics such as synergies between MAGPIE and Portuguese stakeholders, present the results of various demonstrators and discuss their upscaling in European ports such as the Port of Leixões. Focus will be placed on topics such as the usage of digital tools in the governance of the energy transition, the decarbonisation of multiple modalities, and the strategic implications of alternative fuels. This event is open to the public, so please feel free to share the news with your colleagues and others to whom this may be of interest. The two days will include moments to network with local guests.

A visit to the Leixões Port Simulator and Coordination Center is scheduled for the afternoon of October 2nd, following the workshop sessions.

 MAGPIE Consortium only!

The project’s general assembly will be held the day before, on October 1st, 2025. The day will include internal workshops to discuss the advancement of the project and allow us to plan the last year of the project together. MAGPIE members who are not participating in the general assembly are strongly encouraged to be present for these workshops in the afternoon. All discussions will only take place in person.

We look forward to seeing you there!
