Magpie’s Advisory Board: an introduction

By: Arne-Jan Polman

At the beginning of the project, an Advisory Board (AB) was established. The AB should consist of four local representatives of the port areas involved in the project, the secretary-general of ESPO and the director of EFIP. AB members will provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to the project partners. Sometimes, this advice will have a technical nature, but we are also hoping for specialist views on the non-technical aspects of the innovations we are working on in Magpie, for example when it comes to implementation and scalability issues.

The following AB members have agreed to fulfill a position in the Magpie AB:

  • Isabelle Ryckbost (ESPO)
  • Turi Fiorito (EFIP)
  • Markus Völker (Ministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Verkehr des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen)
  • Rui Pereira (Municipality of Sines)
  • Fattouch Kamhi (Municipality of Rotterdam)
  • Vacant position (Municipality of Le Havre)
