The MAGPIE team at TRA 2026.
 

MAGPIE brings together the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN), the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI), IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN), and the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), from the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany and France.

8 research institutes and universities from 4 European countries thus bring together expertise in energy, transport, digitalisation, logistics, port operations and social & human sciences. Their findings and papers (also available in our deliverables) are openly shared, enabling ports and other stakeholders to access, adapt and build on the project’s results. 

Open knowledge and the dissemination of research are at the core of MAGPIE’s vision for the port of the future and were embedded in the commitments made to the European Commission under our project’s Grant Agreement.
